Especially the third (The Curse of Monkey Island). Graphics and stylistics, music and selection menu, separation on charters - not just resembling, it’s direct copy (Especially last part of game). But plot is different and voice acting is perfect.The weakest part of the game is the graphics and animation, it's often very pathetic and crummy. But if the secondary does not scare you (or you don’t play third monkey game) - it's worth. Highly recommend.. i love game. When Curse of the Monkey Island, Grinch and Nightmare before Chrismas met...Pros:- Curse of the Monkey Island (CoMI) style- Funny- Great Intro. I fall in love with that intro. I bought the game for that intro. I will married the intro some day.- Fully voice actedCons- Sometimes puzzles feel random, really random and no or very little hint for the solution, like the secret entrance location- some bugs, like the game support much more monitor resolution than the setting shown, but if you change it, you can't change it back, only via Registry- The last act basicly came from CoMI. Same mechanism, same solution.- Short. I played it through only 5 hours without help- Cat mode looks funny, but irritating- No hard mode, or something for replay value.Conclusun:If you played CoMI you will like it, If you don't, play it first, maybe the first 2 Monkey Island too. They are remastered recently.But we need more CoMI clones so buy it and support the devs!. This game was even better than I expected! From the trailers, I thought it was gonna be basically a copy of The Curse of Monkey Island with a slightly Nightmare Before Christmas touch (which would have been totally OK for me), but it's way more than that. The game is not difficult nor long, the characters are pretty charismatic and it's full of references, really nice choice if you're looking for a light but solid graphic adventure in the classic way!. I waited sooo long for them to release this game, and now that it's out, all I can say is big WOWStory is perfect so far (I passed maybe 40% of the game), it's really comic and above all, it's very interesting to play :) Keep up the good work guys ^_^. You basically walk around aimlessy the entire game, just dragging your items on people, or random objects hoping they progress the game since there is no rhyme or reason behind almost all of the puzzles.. Game is very short though, I solved all the puzzles in under 10 hours on my first playthrough.The puzzles were mostly pretty fair, I had to go to the interwebs for help twice, once on a puzzle where a person could have figured it out, and the other was one that I think the solution was totally unreasonable (or I just missed a clue that would have made it possible).If you like the old-school adventure games, you'll like this, and it's much less frustrating and does a good job recognizing what makes a puzzle solvable.
